Anjaneya Chemicals (Soda Ash):

Chemical Name / Formula : Sodium carbonate / Na2Co3

Soda Ash, also known as Washing Soda or Sodium Carbonate (Na2CO3), is a sodium salt of carbonic acid. It most widely occurs as a crystalline heptahydrate, which readily effloresces to form a white powder, the monohydrate. It is synthetically produced in large quantities from salt and limestone in a process known as the Standard Solvay Process. As a Chemical Traders, Anjaneya Chemicals supply of premium quality Soda Ash enabling our customers to produce high-quality products.

Applications:  Soda Ash is primarily used for manufacture of detergent powder, cake and glass. It is also used in oil well drilling, in hygiene and cleaning products. Soda Ash is also used in effluent treatment, water treatment, in pulp and paper manufacture, in dyes, dye intermediates, brine purification, ore refining, cooling agents, pesticides, drug intermediaries, paper, chemicals etc. Soda Ash is widely used in the production of other chemicals such as Sodium Silicate, Sodium Chromate, Sodium Bichromate, Sodium Bicarbonate and other Sodium Salts. It is also used as a relatively strong base in various settings. For example, sodium carbonate is used as a pH regulator to maintain stable alkaline conditions necessary for the action of the majority of developing agents. It is a common additive in swimming pools used to neutralize the acidic effects Chlorine.
